An atelier for
your skin.
Écrin — a skin atelier in Charleston, with New York on the way. Given a brand and a website as considered as the ritual itself.
A skin atelier deserves
a brand just as refined.
Écrin is a skin atelier — the kind of place where the experience is the product. Charleston is open; New York is on the way. What they needed was a brand that felt like quiet luxury from the very first glance, and a website that could hold two cities at once without ever feeling like a chain.
Écrin is French for the case that holds something precious. Every decision — the wordmark, the palette, the pacing of the site — had to earn that name. We built the identity first, then carried it straight through to a website that opens like a private invitation.
A wordmark that reads
like a whisper.
Luxury skincare tends to shout — bright gradients, clinical blues, exclamation-point promises. Écrin needed the opposite: a wordmark quiet enough to feel expensive, set in Cormorant with a single delicate accent on the É.
The monogram distills the whole brand to one letter — an É that works as a favicon, a stamp on packaging, a mark on the door. Classic, French, and completely its own.
Wordmark & É monogram — set in Cormorant SC, the quiet centre of the identity
A palette pulled
from skin and light.
The colour system is five warm neutrals — porcelain, linen, greige, stone, espresso — drawn from the tones of skin, sand, and unglazed clay. Nothing bright, nothing cold. The kind of palette that makes a treatment room feel like an exhale.
Cormorant SC carries the headlines; Forma keeps the body clean and modern. Together they read as understated, editorial, and unmistakably high-end.
One brand,
two cities.
The website opens on a single choice — Charleston, open now, or New York, coming 2026. It's a gateway, not a homepage: quiet, atmospheric, and built to route each visitor to the right place without a single wasted click.
Built on Shopify with custom sections, the site holds both locations under one roof — and a dedicated New York waitlist page captures interest before the doors even open.
Every screen carries the same restraint as the brand — one serif voice, warm neutral space, and imagery given room to breathe.
The Site in Motion
Your brand should feel
as good as it looks.
A logo is a start. A brand is the whole experience — the mark, the palette, the website, the details that hold it together. We build all of it.
